Den building and fire-lighting, Ages 5+

Join us for a morning of den building and fire lighting! Let your imaginations run wild to create forest hideouts of all shapes and sizes. Using traditional techniques participants will learn how to light fires using natural materials. We will also have a chance to make and taste some herbal teas from herbs grown on site in the farm!

Join us from 10:30 to 12:30pm.

You do not need to book for this event, but please be mindful that spaces are limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis.

This is a FREE event.

Ages 5 - 12

Children must be supervised by an adult whilst on the farm. Children and young people can attend the workshop alone provided a responsible adult remains at the farm at all times during the session, health and safety for fire lighting will be covered at the beginning of the workshop.

Rez Kabir is an actor and storyteller. He performs his own stories in English, incorporating different languages such as Bengali. His stories are world based and are from traditional, as well as modern, sources. Using songs, movement, mime and puppetry (trained at Little Angel Theatre) to create a visual treat and a magical experience.

Stories are suitable for children aged 5 years upwards. Children must be supervised by an adult. Older children can attend alone provided a responsible adult remains at the farm during the session.

Booking isn’t required but space is limited, please arrive 5 mins before each session starts.

Sessions will be approximately half an hour and run regularly from 1-3pm!
