The Farm will be closed for a staff Christmas event on Thurs 12th Dec. Then closed for the holidays from Sat 21st Dec 2024 - Mon 6th Jan 2025.

Getting Here

Spitalfields City Farm, Buxton Street, London E1 5AR

The farm entrance is on Buxton Street, next to Thomas Buxton School.

 

Bus routes

Bus D3 stops on Vallance Road, a 2 minute walk to the farm.

Hire BIKES

A Hire Bike station is just outside the entrance to the farm on Buxton Street.


 

SOME RULES FOR YOUR VISIT

  • We are happy to welcome Guide Dogs for the Blind, Disability Assistance Dogs, Disability Support Dogs, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Medical Assistance Dogs and Seizure Alert Dogs provided that:

    • They are fully registered, kept under control and accompanied by their owners.

    • Owners must show the relevant Identification Cards upon entering the Farm and all assistance dogs must wear their identifying jackets whilst on site. ID card and jackets are a part of the regulations for all Registered and Trained Support Dogs in the UK.

      There may be times when our livestock is loose on site, so it is best to call ahead and we can always advise best times to visit

  • On the farm everyone should wash their hands before putting them near their mouths (eating, sucking thumbs or smoking). Full hand washing facilities are available at the farm.

  • Children should be supervised at all times.

  • Feeding the animals is not allowed unless approved by a member of staff or part of a planned activity.

  • No chasing, throwing things or shouting at the animals.

  • Wear appropriate clothing, e.g strong shoes/trainers, not open-toed sandals.
