Young Farmers building fires

Our Young Farmers sessions will give participants the opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence, meet new people and take a break from the outside world, in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Young Farmers Programme exists to give young people in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Islington and the City of London the opportunity to engage with green space in a meaningful way. Young people and parents can register their interest directly, we also accept referrals from children and young peoples services operating in Tower Hamlets.

“Spitalfields City Farm is a fantastic resource for our pupils, many of whom come from deprived or ‘just about managing’ families and have few opportunities to visit places of interest like this. Workshops such as this one really helps to broaden their experiences and enriches their learning at school. Thank you!”
