We offer activity-based employee team building in the form of Team Challenge Days. These sessions help us maintain the Farm site for the benefit of the community, while also raising vital funds to care of our animals and subsidise our education programmes.
A team day with us can be part of an ongoing partnership with the Farm, or as a one-off event, but the benefits are most definitely mutual!
Due to popularity, we recommend booking at least 3 months in advance!
We are now FULLY BOOKED until December 2024, and are taking bookings for 2025.

”One of the loveliest experiences I've ever had through work. I'd recommend it to anyone.”
“I received rave reviews from all those who took part. Everyone enjoyed being outdoors and productive... It also left us feeling more connected to our office neighbourhood and wanting to prolong that feeling. ”
Due to the flexible nature of farm life we can’t guarantee set activities in advance. However, there will be a mix of gardening, DIY, farmyard tasks and of course, animal interaction! All activities are supervised, so no experience is needed but please let us know of any medical conditions prior to the day so we can plan activities accordingly. Typical examples of tasks include:
Mucking out the paddocks and stables
Painting fences and varnishing picnic tables
General repairs and DIY
Pond clearing
Maintaining the habitats of our Great Crested Newts
Weeding and wood chipping gardens and pathways
Sowing seeds and planting bulbs
Pruning fruit trees and harvesting crops
Animal grooming and feeding
Muck heap management
What to wear?
Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and dress in layers, ready for all weather conditions. Trousers and long sleeve tops are advisable. We provide gloves, rain jackets and wellies as required.

The costs below include a £150 session fee, and the rest is a voluntary donation. This covers staff supervision, admin time, all tools and materials, gloves and PPE. The funds also subsidise our education programme, animal welfare bills, and general running costs so we can keep the farm free to visit 6 days a week throughout the year. This allows us to offer our much-needed services to our local community who live in one of the most deprived boroughs in the UK.
