Farm Closure
UPDATE as of 1st April 2020: Over the past few weeks we have been closely following the advice of the government, listening and adapting as we all begin to take new measures in the collective effort to help stop the transmission of COVID-19. For us, the safety and well being of our team and community is of the utmost importance. As a result we have decided to maintain the temporary closure of the Farm to the public in line with Government advice.
We know how important the Farm is to our community and we will keep our decision to temporarily close under review. We will be guided by any new advice from the government and our desire to be part of the public effort to help protect people from COVID-19.
Like many others who have been affected by this unprecedented event, this is a very challenging time for us. We rely on the ability to put on fundraising events and provide services to fund the work that we do with our community, to feed and care for our animals and to maintain the upkeep of our growing spaces. This is a really critical time for us and we would be extraordinarily grateful for any support you are able to give.
We will continue our efforts to support our community during this challenging time while maintaining the safety and well being of all involved. For instance, we will continue to sell our fresh produce at the front gate to members of the public who do not need to be self-isolating. Very soon you will be able to place orders through our website or by calling the Farm office so that we can provide a specific pick-up time to maintain social distance. We will provide more details on this shortly.
In the meantime we would like to say thank you for your understanding and support and wish you and your families well.
