A day celebrating projects and activities that illustrate how fascinating, inspiring, and essential plants are to our lives.
The day will also feature the launch of the farm's new compost toilet developed through a partnership with UCL scientists and showcasing illustrations by Jennie Webber www.wildlifedrawing.co.uk!
Come see our seed library, sample herbal teas, join a plant hunt, and check out some of our amazing botanical arts activities, including:
Botanical Drawing: Budding artists will learn to observe, appreciate, and capture nature for future enjoyment!
Language of flowers: Make your own arrangement to express your feelings
Flowers made of yarn: Learn from the Knitter Sisters how to knit or crochet your own low-maintenance plant
Pressed flower craft: make your own card, picture, or other craft with plants and flowers from the farm
Plus more have-a-go activities with other friendly community groups!
