After hours fun for young people at Spitalfields City Farm.
For the first instalment of late events this summer, we welcome Connor Butler who will introduce us to the queer and wonderful world of nature.
‘Queer Ecology’ aims to challenge what we think of as being ‘natural’ or ‘unnatural’ and celebrates diversity in all life. Join ecologist Connor Butler on a guided nature walk to explore the diverse and unusual lifecycles found in the common plants and animals right outside your doorstep. You’ll learn how to identify common species and gain a new fascination with the natural world.
This gentle walk invites all curious minds interested in seeing nature from a new perspective.
We will also have pizza!
Bring a friend or come to meet new friends and have fun in nature.
This is for young people aged 13-17 years old. You do not need to be accompanied by an adult but you will need to sign up and fill in a registration form before attending.
