Kathryn Mallett, Treasurer

Kathryn is very lucky to live with her family in a rural area, where her children spend time outdoors and have land-based lessons as part of the school curriculum. Kathryn has seen the benefits of this for children with and without SEN, and is really excited to be involved in a project that brings outdoor activities to children and adults who might not otherwise have access to plants or animals.

During the COVID pandemic, we saw how access to green spaces was beneficial to mental and physical health. Kathryn is very keen that we retain as much green space within our urban environments as possible and sees Spitalfields City Farm as a vital community asset.

Kathryn is a Tax Partner at KPMG. She has advised charities and not-for-profit organisations for many years, and joined the Farm as a Trustee in February 2024.
