SCHOOL BURSARY SCHEME

Yr6 class visit

With generous support from the Water Conservation Trust, Spitalfields City Farm are offering opportunities for schools in Tower Hamlets and surrounding boroughs to book onto a tour or workshop, free of charge.

We understand that one of the barriers to school visits can be cost and as children get older and move through education, exams are prioritised over outdoor education and nature connection. We want children of all ages to benefit from the educational and wellbeing benefits of engaging with the farm and in order to make our tours and workshops more accessible, we are offering this bursary to classes that meet the following criteria…

  • Yr6 (Primary school) or Yr7 (Secondary school) class

  • Over 30% of pupils are eligible for free school meals

  • Schools would not otherwise be able to afford to visit the farm
